Starting this year (2008), The Carolina Bee Company will be selling queens and nucleus hives. We will ensure that your queen is healthy and laying a quality brood pattern. Please contact us to be informed when we will be selling queens and nucs. We will only be selling in small quantities until we have our process and infrastructure solidified. We will not be selling package bees.

Nucleus Starter Hives
A nuc is a small 5 frame starter hive that includes all bees that make up a small but complete hive: queen, workers, drones, and all life cycles of brood. A nucleus hive is the ideal starter hive and much faster to ramp up than a package of bees. We will be selling nucs in a very limited number soon. Stay tuned!
