BLUE RIBBONS!

The Carolina Bee Company entered items into two categories at the North Carolina State Fair this year, and to our delight, we won Blue Ribbons for both!

We won a Blue Ribbon for our dry mead. We will not be selling mead, but we will be selling Honey Vinager made from the mead next year. Nevertheless, we were tickled pick (maybe amber) that we won.

We also took home a Blue Ribbon for our soap/cosmetic/beauty products. We had a display of hand-made soaps and lip-balms that took the prize! Awesome!

Starting this year (2008), The Carolina Bee Company began offering, on a very limited scale, a selection of soap products. We are still testing our recipes and the market. Stay tuned for these wonderful soap offerings in 2009. All soaps will include, of course, honey and beeswax as ingredients. We will ensure that our soap is an all-natural, hand-made, unique product of quality so that one can escape bathing in this sea of artificial chemicals that we often subject ourselves.
